Coach Greg is in his first year as Head Coach of the Paducah Swim Team. He has approximately 10 years experience in working with swimmers of all ages and skill levels and over 26 years of experience in the sport of swimming.
Prior to coaching for PST, he was at Team Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina where he coached for two years. As an assistant coach for Team Greenville, he worked with over 70 swimmers on a daily basis ranging in all levels of swimming. While at TG Coach Greg coached one swimmer to a national ranking and placed another swimmer on the South Carolina Zone Team. Coach Greg was also in charge of their swim school program, Home School program, and the video analysis of swimmers. In 2005 he coach for New Wave Swim Team were he worked with swimmers of all levels including Masters and help the get two second place finishes at Age Group Champs. In August of 2003, he became the Assistant Swim Coach for Atomic City Aquatic Club where he was in charge of the 11 and up group. He produced swimmers from Southeastern qualifiers to T16 level finishers. He was a volunteer coach for the University of Tennessee Lady Vols for two seasons. While with the Lady Vols they had a fourth place finish in 2004 and have had many qualify for NCAA nationals. He was also the Head coach of the Sugarwood Stingrays, which is a member GAKISA. Coach Greg in the summer of 2003 coached at the University of Georgia assisting them within the college team and their yearly summer swim camp. He then coached collegiate and club swimmers at Western Illinois. During his time as a student assistant with the Leathernecks and the Westerwinds, He helped both the men's or women's squads to three-consecutive Midwest Classic Championship titles from 2001-03.
A native of Sterling, Ill. , he received a bachelor's degree in history from WIU in 2003.
